Join us for an evening of inspiration, resilience and determination – from breaking news, to breaking a sweat!

On Tuesday 28th April, we’re delighted to welcome one of the UK’s best-known broadcasters, Sophie Raworth. Sophie will be joined by her friend Olympic marathon runner Rose Harvey, who will be leading us in a relaxed and intimate Q&A. Both Sophie and Rose will have just completed the London Marathon a mere two days before!

Known to many as a familiar face on BBC News, Sophie joins us to share a different side of her story, celebrating her new book Running on Air: From BBC Headlines to Life-Changing Finish Lines.

Sophie will reflect on her unexpected journey into running – a journey that took her across the Alps and even to the Sahara Desert for the famous 150-mile Marathon des Sables! A journey that began later in life and unfolded into something far more transformative than she ever anticipated. Along the way, we’ll explore themes of perseverance, and how small, steady steps can lead to meaningful change. Perfect for runners, non-runners – or the simply curious!

Expect an honest and engaging conversation, with plenty of opportunity to ask your own questions.

As always, there’ll be time to meet Sophie afterwards, and get a copy of your book signed.

Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended. Contact us at [email protected] to reserve your spot. Please note that seating will be on a first come, first seated basis.
