Unfortunately, we cannot stock books from self-published authors, and cannot be responsible for submissions sent or given into the shop. We have to prioritise the many books that arrive every day from our wholesalers! If you do not hear back from us regarding a submission, we are sadly unable to stock your book.
We are a team of book lovers who are committed to discovering new authors and voices, and we work with many fantastic independent publishers; for independent authors, we recommend looking up the Writers’ & Artists’ Yearbook for great tips on publishing a book.

We offer exchanges or credit vouchers on books in resalable condition within 28 days of purchase. Please retain your receipt if you wish to exchange an item. Refunds will not be available, and stationery items are non-returnable.
Our large and spacious back room is available for private hire and makes a memorable setting for book launches, signings, readings, small gatherings, and filming.
There’s ample space for food and drinks, and your guests are welcome to explore the rest of the shop and browse our shelves.
