The Royal Request

Ari’s family bakery makes the finest cakes, using recipes passed down through generations. One day they receive a special request to make a magnificent cake for the queen, in time for the royal peacock’s birthday! With a long journey ahead, Ari and his grandad take their trusty horse, Cinnamon, to safely deliver their creation. Along the way they’re slowed down, not only by their heavy cake, a broken cart and hundred of goats, but also by the many townspeople sharing their opinions and giving mixed advice. Will they reach the palace in time? A modern ‘parable’ story which shows us the challenges of people pleasing and being slowed by the weight of other people’s opinions.
