Storytime and Craft with Frankie Gritton!

We’re excited to be welcoming Frankie Gritton to Nomad Books on Saturday 3rd October at 11am, for a special story time celebrating her wonderful debut picture book, A House Made of Books. You may remember Frankie’s book from her recent window illustration at Nomad – scroll down to jog your memory. 

Frankie will be reading from the book and taking us into a world where books are more than just stories on a shelf – they’re places to explore, and even things to build an actual home with! But what happens when Simon builds a cosy home made of books? Join us to find out…

And then, because listening to stories is only half the fun, we’ll be getting stuck into a potato stamp craft activity. There will be potatoes. There will be paint. There will almost certainly be some very good stamping.

Come along for a morning of stories, making, and imagination. Perfect for little readers, enthusiastic listeners and anyone who thinks a bookshop is one of the best places to start a weekend.
