A little chick is abandoned by her mother and left for dead after a terrible accident. Jasmine rescues the tiny bird and nurses her back to health, but she is again rejected by her family. An old cockerel takes the little chick under his wing, saving her from a buzzard attack and showing that friendship can be found in the most unlikely of places.
